What does this mean, i'm having serious problems and this is only one of them?

microsoft visual c++ runtime library

program:c:\windows\explorer.exe

a buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the programs internal state. the program cannot continue execution and must now be terminated.

What does this mean, i'm having serious problems and this is only one of them?
there is a possible breach of system security. buffer overrun or buffer overflow is when a program that tries to put more data then the fixed length buffer allows so it then writes over to the next buffer and causes the program to crash. it is a exploit that someone did or something that got into your computer. I would scan your computer before it boots up to detect the problem. if it doesn't work you might have to reinstall windows.
Reply:This is a memory problem it couldn't read it fast enough so it timed out mate how much ram do you have. But then have you crammed the harddrive with music. ?
